Contest Mechanism:

1. Pick at least 3 of your favourite products from any categories.

2. Search & select ‘Green Screen’ effect. Put the product’s Country of Origin as your background.

3. Record your dance with/without your favourite products.

4. Post video on IG Reels. Tag @guardianmy. Hashtag #BeautyAroundTheWorld #GuardianMY

4. Requirements

4.1 Participants must be 13 years of age or older. The contest is open only to all Malaysians, excluding the individuals* listed below:

*Individuals that are not eligible to participate in this Contest:

i. Employees of the Organiser/Prize Sponsor [including its associates, subsidiaries or related thereto] and their immediate family members [children, parents, siblings, spouses]; and/or

ii. Representatives, employees and/or the advertising agencies or promotional agencies of the Organiser/Prize Sponsor [including its associated and related companies] and their immediate family members [children, parents, siblings, spouses].

4.2 Create own Guardian #BeautyAroundTheWorld Hashtag Challenge video.

4.3 Upload the Guardian #BeautyAroundTheWorld Hashtag Challenge video to own Instagram Reels.

4.4 Instagram account should be set as public.

5. Scoring Assessment System:

5.1 The judging panel will select 17 x winners based on the content of the IG Reels.

6. Exclusion of Liability

6.1 The Organiser will not be responsible or liable for:

6.1.1 Any problem, damage or loss of whatsoever nature suffered by any party due to any delay and/or failure in the recruitment/contest process due to browser errors as a result of any network, communication or system error, interruption and/or failure experienced by participating website service providers and/or resulting from participation in the recruitment/contest howsoever arising. In the event of such error, interruption and/or failure, the organiser shall not be responsible or liable for any failure by any participants to participate in the recruitment/contest at any time.

6.1.2 Any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, destruction, alteration of or unauthorized access to entries, or entries lost or delayed whether or not arising during operation or transmission as a result of server malfunctions, virus, bugs, human or technical error or other causes outside its control; and

6.1.3 Any other errors, acts or omissions whatsoever by the participating browser service providers.

6.2 The Organiser has the right to extract the demographics of the participant.

6.3 Guardian reserves the right at any time to replace any participant and/or winner subsequently found to be disqualified for any reason.

7. Disqualification

Without prejudice to any right which the Organiser may have in law, the Organiser reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any participant(s) that it determines to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the recruitment/contest, or to be acting in breach or potential breach of these Online Recruitment Terms and Conditions.

9. Announcement

9.1 Selected winners will be contacted personally and announced at Guardian Malaysia Official social media accounts on 10th December 2021.

9.2 The Organiser at its own situation lack capacity its modify right and modify and/or terms provided as it sees fit.

10. Redemption

10.1 To redeem the prizes, the winner must present his/her identification card number or passport bearing the name and number corresponding to the information given/user handle used in the recruitment submission. Guardian may, at its sole and absolute discretion, declare any entry void if the winner fails to produce such proper identification documents.

10.2 Upon the winner identity verification, with the mutual agreement from The Organiser and winner, the prize will be either be collected in Guardian HQ or posted to the selected winner according to the postal address provided by express service.

11. Variation to the Terms and Conditions

The Organiser reserves the right to change, amend, delete or add to these Terms and Conditions without prior notice at any time and the voters agree that he/she shall be bound to such changes.

12. The Organiser΄s Decision

12.1 All decisions made by the Organiser pertaining to all side of the Recruitment/Contest including, without limitation, the process and manner the scores are counted and scores shall be final and no appeal, query or correspondence shall be Entertained.

12.2 Guardian reserves the right to make any alternation or changes without prior notification.

13. Usage of participants’ Details and Pictures

The Organiser reserves the rights to use participants’ personal details, contents, videos, pictures, photos or images for publicity and promotional purposes online and offline without any prior notification.
